We’re delighted to welcome Bolton Cares to Walkden town centre as one of our newest tenants at Ellesmere Shopping Centre.

Bolton Cares, and their Salford subsidiary Salford Cares, have opened a new office and training centre here at Ellesmere, a move that signals their long-term commitment to delivering high quality social care services across Salford.

Salford Cares has been supporting local people on behalf of Salford City Council since 2019, providing 24-7 supported living services and outreach care to more than 50 people across the city. They employ over 100 staff locally, supporting people with a wide range of needs including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, neurodivergent conditions, and mental health needs.

The new Walkden office gives their team a strong, visible presence in the heart of the community they serve, with back-office support for frontline staff and a foundation for future growth in the area.

Rhian Stone, Chief Executive of Bolton Cares, said the opening marks the beginning of an exciting next chapter for Salford Cares, reflecting the strength of their partnership with Salford City Council and their commitment to being here for the long term.
