The summer holidays are here, and we’ve turned Walkden Town Centre into your very own big screen. Every Thursday in August, we’re rolling out Summer of Movie Magic — a month of free family entertainment inspired by some of the best-loved films around.

No tickets, no booking, no cost. Just pop down between 11am and 3pm and let the fun find you.

What’s on

Each Thursday brings a different adventure to life, with live performances from movie-inspired characters, meet and greets, interactive activities and themed crafts. There’s something to keep every age entertained, so bring the whole family and make a morning (or afternoon) of it.

• Thursday 13th August — Adventures inspired by Transformers
• Thursday 20th August — Adventures inspired by Wizard of Oz
