Join us for a truly special occasion as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a FREE Afternoon Tea Party at Walkden Town Centre, in collaboration with Salford Step into Action.

Bring your family, especially your beloved nan or grandad, and be part of a wonderful community afternoon filled with nostalgia, music, and plenty of treats!
What to Expect:
- ☕ Traditional Afternoon Tea including scones, butter, jam & proper clotted cream
- 👵 Tea, coffee, and water to keep you refreshed
- 🎶 Live performances by the Jazebelle Trio singing classic wartime songs
- 📜 Period dress welcome and singalongs encouraged!
- 🎊 Walkden decked out with bunting and festive vibes

- 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM
- 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM
The stunning Jazebelle Trio will be serenading us with war-time classics like “White Cliffs of Dover,” “Run, Rabbit Run,” “Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye,” and “We’ll Meet Again” — as suggested by our wonderful Walkden community!
